Singer, Songwriter and Producer, Kristen Commodore is a 2011 National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Grammy Balloted Nominated Artist and Hollywood Music Award Nominated Artist. Kristen's debut album, Misguided Dignity, has garnered critical acclaim in several categories on the Grammy Ballot, including Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance for Love IS, Best Rock Song for Bruised and Best Instrumental Arrangement with Vocal for Bruised. Kristen was a finalist for her Rock single, Bruised for The Hollywood Music Awards.
Kristen released her album June 2011! Her first 2 singles, Bruised and No Kind of Peace debuted on Pax Stereo TV to rave reviews! Bruised also debuted on Radio in Hollywood, CA on KCAL-FM! Radio Free Phoenix in Arizona also debuted Bruised on their Internet Radio Station. Kristen did a live in house radio broadcast and interview at Radio Free Phoenix with radio host, Andy Olsen.
Kristen is a worldwide performer, including performances in Sicily and Italy. She has performed at House of Blues in Hollywood, CA, and several other venues in The Los Angeles Area. Kristen has also performed in her native, Taunton, MA!
Kristen is the daughter of the Cape Verdean Legendary Guitarist/Musician, Leo Perry. Leo is a member of A Tribute to Cape Verdeans Musician in The Smithsonian Museum.
Kristen is a Member with The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) and is a Registered Songwriter with BMI.

Last night, Marvin and I attended The Shine On Hollywood Magazine Launch, by Editor In Chief, Arnold Garcia in Doheny Hills, CA! This one of the highlights of my career, as well at being honored for our Love IS Foundation!
We witnessed performances by the Iconic, Billy Vera who sang his legendary hit, At This Moment and Cornelius Grant one of the original Temptations and Asha Puthli, Iconic Indian Musician! She even flew in from Florida!

Today, I got the amazing opportunity to take my lil sis out to Joan's on 3rd in Beverly Hills and we ate an incredible breakfast!!! I wore Amanda Bynes, black cords, with my sneakers and my Boston Red Sox sweatshirt!!! Hey Everyone,
Last night was my 1st show of 2012, at The House of Blues! It went off without a hitch! I took the stage with Blues Guitarist, Gene Williams and I shared the stage with Amy Jo Davis, Eddie Grey and Bianca Paras!!! It was such a pleasure.
